(July 19, 2026) On July 17-18, Austin Lay and his #33 team ventured to Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky and 191 Speedway in Campton, Kentucky for a pair of Slingin' Dirt Late Model Series showdowns. On Friday night in a $4,000 to win showdown at Ponderosa, Austin timed in fifth quickest overall during the qualifying session prior to advancing up to third during the 30-lap feature to land on the podium behind only victor Jason Jameson and runner-up Skylar Marlar. At 191 on Saturday evening with a $10,000 top prize up for grabs in the 'Deanna Noble Memorial,' Austin ran seventh in his heat race and twenty-second in the 40-lapper. Lay Nabs Top Ten in $10,000 Showdown at Mudlick Valley
(July 5, 2026) The Outlaw Racing team traveled to 191 Speedway in Campton, Kentucky and Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Kentucky over the Independence Day holiday weekend for a pair of Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series shootouts. On Friday, July 3 at 191, Austin Lay placed eighth in his heat race before advancing to finish eleventh in the final rundown of the $5,000 to win main event. With a $10,000 top prize up for grabs on Saturday, July 4 at Mudlick Valley, Austin ran seventh in both his heat race and the 40-lap headliner. Outlaw Racing Pays Visit to Moler Raceway Park Last Night
(June 20, 2026) Austin Lay and Outlaw Racing roared into Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday night, June 19 for a $5,000 to win Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series throwdown. In the 'Impact Race Gear 30' program, Austin ran eighth in his heat race and seventh in his B-Main. After rolling off from the inside of the eleventh row in the 30-lap feature, Austin wound up twentieth in the final finishing order. Pair of Top Tens for Austin Lay in Bluegrass State Doubleheader
(June 14, 2026) After a month off from racing action, Austin Lay and Outlaw Racing rolled into both Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky and Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Kentucky over the June 12-13 weekend. On Friday night with a $3,000 paycheck up for grabs at Ponderosa, Austin placed fourth in his heat race and sixth in the 30-lap main event behind only victor Jason Jameson, Tripp Gerrald, Skylar Marlar, David Webb, and Justin Smith. (May 16, 2026) Austin Lay and his Outlaw Racing team returned to Moler Raceway Park for a second straight Friday on May 15, as another $2,000 top prize was up for grabs for the Super Late Model division. Austin knocked down the fifth fastest lap overall during time trials before running sixth in his heat race. (May 9, 2026) The Outlaw Racing team enjoyed their best run of the 2026 campaign on Friday night, May 8 at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio! In the weekly $2,000 to win Super Late Model event, Austin Lay laid down the seventh fastest lap overall during the qualifying session prior to running third in his heat race. After starting the 25-lap main event from the inside of the third row, Austin brought home a solid sixth place effort in the contest finishing behind only winner Todd Brennan, Kirk Phillips, Blake Creech, Mike Hildebrand, and Cody Mahoney. Austin Lay Enters Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence Speedway
(May 3, 2026) One of the biggest events of the year for the Outlaw Racing team took place on Saturday night, May 2 at the nearby Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. The 40th Annual 'Ralph Latham Memorial' was on tap and a $25,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Austin Lay started off his evening by posting the fifteenth quickest lap in Group A during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying. He then finished eighth in both his heat race and his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the 50-lap headliner that was won by Hudson O'Neal. The new Slingin' Dirt Late Model Series held their opening event and a $3,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Austin Lay timed in seventeenth fastest overall during the qualifying session prior to running sixth in his heat race, second in the B-Main, and sixteenth in the 35-lap headliner. (April 12, 2026) The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series started their season on Saturday, April 11 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. A 20-car field converged on the Chillicothe-area venue to vie for the $5,000 winner's check. Austin Lay went eighth quickest overall during the time trial session before running fourth in his heat race. The Union, Kentucky native rolled off from the inside of the sixth row in the 30-lap main event and was ultimately paid for a seventeenth place showing. Austin stopped the clock tenth fastest in Group B during qualifying prior to placing fourth in his heat race. (March 22, 2026) The Outlaw Racing team kicked off their version of the 2026 racing season on Saturday, March 21 at Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. The Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned the 50th annual running of the 'Spring 50' last night and a $10,000 payday was up for grabs. Austin Lay unfortunately encountered oil pump problems after hot laps and was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program.
